Default Newer engine in a 67

I have a block #14093638 350 in a 67 Camaro and there is not enough room between the engine and the frame cross member for the fuel pump. Does anyone know of a solution other that electric fuel pump?

Sounds like you have a Vortec 350 with the center mount valve cover bolts?
Go electric and don't look back, some of those later blocks don't even have the fuel pump pushrod hole machined from what I've read.
They were fuel injected engines designed for electric fuel pumps mounted in the gas tank, the cam may not have a lobe for the fuel pump either.
