I have been looking to purchase a camaro, but need help with valuing a car..... Thought I would come here for your expertise!!

Can you help with a valuation on this car?

They did all that work and did NOT install tailpipes on that car?? WTF?
I guess you have to drive around with the windows open all the time.

 

The guy spent $50k on a resto, yet some of the bolts and brackets underneath are rusty. And other parts to me look like undercoated who knows what. I question the quality of restoration that was done, and certainly wouldn't fork over any money until going over it in person, with a fine tooth comb (and a magnet). Not to mention, by the sellers words, he isn't going to give it away, which is most likely why he mentioned how much he "spent".

 

True, not an SS.
Nobody runs a brake line under the subframe, always run the line on top from the dist block to the side of drvr frame.
It has '69 alternator mounting, aka, pass side, so would be a long water pump and pulley system, also,'69 master cylinder.
Sixty-seven's did not come with spoilers.
Could have painted interior door sills and console black to match interior.
Looks like an internally reg'd alternator, a plus if looking for a drvr.
Firewall should be black.
Edelbrock carburetor.
Since I don't see plug wires above the air cleaner, I suspect an HEI distributor, a plus.

 

Ok, all good input. But anyone with a value, if all is as he says?

 

I would put it in the $30K-35K range...

 

It looks nice till you get inside and see that beat up steering column with a cheesy steering. Not digging the home made center console. I would be surprised if he wasn't asking $50k plus.

 

I agree with this statement completely.... he is asking 33 for it.

 

looks backyard built with a budget mind. don't buy it.
