New Member: replacing floors+ subframe mount - Need Help.

greetings, I just got a 68 327 to go through, someone already cut both floor pans out ( tunnel is still there) Subframe is strapped up with a 4x4. Front body is off ( never got with the car) . So i don't really have much to go off.

I want to be able to install the floor (s) perfectly so the subframe retainers and supports in the floors are correct . The subframe would have to be perfectly angled/ level or shimmed to make the front end line up perfectly ( body + door gap ..ect)

Should i order left + Right pans (come with subframe retainer + support)
Or order the whole floor - complete 1 piece with tunnel.

Anyone who has tackled this I would really appreciate some insight or maybe a measurement from the roof to floor at subframe mount ?

Thanks very much!

Personally I would order the one piece with the tunnel, its already all assembled, less welding and it will be easier to square up with the body.

Can we assume you have done a few of these type of repairs? I hope so. If not you can turn a lot of costly parts, and time, and efforts to junk. Sounds like your taking on a major project. Good luck with it.
