New member! Hows it going?!
Well, when you own any form of vehicle you know the best place for information comes from online forums. So thats why Im here!
While I am not the owner of this sweet ride... it is my girlfriends. I am more of a new age/ modern car type (2005 vette). So a little back story on the car...
Its a 1967 RS that my girlfriends father has owned since he was 18. Living in California it was his daily driver for 20-ish years. They packed up and moved to Arizona. Once living in Az, he only drive the car for about 6 months. After that six months he parked the car and it hasnt moved for almost 15 years. I have tried to buy this car ever since high school (14 years ago) but he would never budge, many many people have offered large amounts of cash on the spot only to be rejected. This past week I helped my girlfriend sell her car. With the money from her car we looked and looked for another nice car to upgrade to. We couldnt find anything we liked. Sitting in her fathers living room last night I joked that we are only looking for cars because he wont give her the Camaro.... 10 seconds later he entertained the idea. Today he gave us the thumbs up to have the car. With the money we were going to buy a car with he is allowing us to restore the car back to its original beauty in exchange for him giving the car to my girlfriend.
Car is in OK condition. Its not great but with about 6g's and a month of work it will be back to a VERY nice daily driver for my girlfriend while staying in the family. We are pulling it into the garage this weekend and I will snap some photos of it then to post on here later.
Any help and guidance from you guys would be great! Cant wait to see this thing run!

First off, I agree with you, I also like the newer technology cars for my daily driver. (I drive a 350Z during the week)

What do you plan on doing with that 6 G's in a months time to make it a good daily driver? (Engine, Body, Paint, interior, etc??)
Look forward to the Pics!
