Default 69 cambird

Thanks for the warm welcome. Our Daughter wanted her first car to be a 67 Camaro after watching the movie better off dead a few times and fell in love with it. I had owned a couple first generation camaros in the past and she still reminds me of the 67 rs I had that was to be hers when she was of driving age. Do to family needs the car was sold unfortunatly. My wife really liked the 69 rs ss I had prio too the 67. We decided to look for something that was a project that we could build with our daughter as a first car and daily driver for her drive to school as we don't live in the district she goes to. This cambird (as we call it) looked like the ticket. She likes the firebird tail lights and I been itchin to build something on the customized side.

Were just wanting to build a her a decent looking driver that will be reliable and safe. We need lots of stuff. good usable parts will work just fine. We picked up a 350 firebird motor that we could hear and see run on an engine stand that had good oil pressure, long tube headers, new carb and a 350 turbo transmission. I got a couple years to get it on the road for her but as slow a I move I'm already behind... LOL

Was thinking about putting disc brakes on the front and wanted to know whats a good set up at a reasonable price? Thanks Steve
