Default New guy with a new project

Well I am new here and need some guidance. This is my first car and I want to learn as much as possible. I have been into diesel for a while and finally got my chance to buy my dream car. So my question is, where is the best place to go for parts for my 1969 project? And also maybe a book to tell me what goes where. Thanks.

I got all my parts from NPD. The quality is consistant and I found that most everything was cheaper that the rest.

I've used the ones listed above and also Camaro Central which has generally been less $$$ for what I've needed. But shop around and get the best prices...

Wow.... ^^^ these guys hit the nail right on the head!! I'm a day late and dollar short. I bought my books on ebay a little cheaper than Amazon though and got free S&H on a couple. Camaro Central has an Awesome Catalog. I went to Crusin the Coast in Biloxi last October and they were there with a ton of 69 parts... theie parts were top shelf and the prices were great.
