Hi, just joined this forum. I bought my 69 camaro back that I owned when I was 16. My boy will be 16 in December and it is his. It needs alot of work as time has not been good to it. It has been in a barn for the last 29 years. was a base model V8 car Dover white with green interior and a green vinyl top. Gezz it is ugly! Anyhow either way it is a 69 camaro and will not be put back original. I can not believe the prices of these things these days. I paid my buddy who I sold it to 29 years ago $5000 for it and I think I sold it to him for $800.00, And it was in better shape. I also originally bought my car from a good friend of mine. (Larry Kimball) who back then around these parts was the 67-69 Camaro King! I paid $350.00 for it when I was 16 years old and Larry delivered it to my parents house. From 16 to 20 I probably owned, Raced, And sold/parted out over a dozen 69 Camaros. I have not owned one in many years as I been into 32-34 ford hot rods. Last year my boy decided he wanted a Camaro So I knew My buddy had never done anything with the old 69 So I started bugging him to buy it back. I plan to do everything I could not afford to do to it back then.

 

Welcome aboard,if you got more than a rusted out hulk with no windows and no interior and no engine or trans for $5K you stole it.
I had a '69 for 14 years,sold it in 1990 for $1800,she needed paint and minor bodywork but had a good running 396/4 speed.
If I could only buy one like it now for that I'd be all over it. lol

 

If you can get it the way you want for $25k then you have $30k in and the + is it was your old car
