Default Need an alternator

I'm looking for an alternator or my 69 camaro. Stock is showing 61 amp. What size will I need for modern day electronics? I am planning on running mechanical gauges and nothing crazy for a stereo system. I'm trying to figure out if I should get an 80 or a 100 amp. Any suggestions?

I'd go with the 100, just so you have it. Better to have a little more than you need, than not enough to keep up with whatever accessories you now have, or may add in the future.

That is kind of what I was leaning toward. I just wasn't sure if I would really need to go that large.

I would consider a 1 wire alternator also if you don't already have one to clean up the wiring.
