dumb question must one use Loctite on 4 carrier bolts for 12bolt

 

Not a dumb question, you asked it.
I never used Loctite when I was working on mine.
Just light oil on the threads for lubing to 85 ft/lbs.
Make sure the oil passages from the holes in the case to the carrier bearings are clean.
Lots of gunk collects there and goes straight to the bearings.
