Moving the alternator

I need to move the alternator from the passenger side to the driver's side so I can mount an A/C compressor. There are no bolt holes in the heads to attach the mount. Can't go low because of the power steering pump. Any ideas where I can find mounts? (1969 Camaro)

The A/C compressor went on the drivers side, how come you need to mount it on the passenger side?
Basically, you can set yours up like a 67 or 68, which didn't have accessory holes in the heads either.
To move the alternator to the drivers side, you need to replace your long style water pump with the short style,
get the corresponding upper and lower pulleys (yours won't work), and use this style 67/68 lower alternator bracket: 67-68 Lower Alternator Bracket
You'll also need to use an aftermarket adapter bracket if you have headers instead of cast iron exhaust manifolds.
Then use a longer style upper slide bracket to attach the alternator to the water pump mounting bolt.

If it's not going to be a restoration (and I assume it wont if it's going on the wrong side) then you can buy adjustable chrome brackets that are universal and go on either side, for about $25. Like these I used on my gasser project car:

I like that adjustable bracket. [even if I have to change the water pump). Is that available for both sides for alt. and a/c comp.? (by the way. love the gasser. Been a sucker for them since seeing Stone, Woods and Cook and Big John Mazmanian back in the 60's.
