Looks like a nice one. I'd keep the RS headlights and stuff, but that's my preference.
You'll hurt the value of the car if you do, but it's your car to do what you want.

Very Nice... If it were mine Id leave it just the way it is... Except for a tag on the front that says "The Scooch". you should be very proud of that one.

..thanks fellows..I do understand by changing stuff may lower its value but i'm at an age (67) where that's not as important as personal satisfaction..it's at a friends shop now trying to figure out the "spitting" when excellerating..(all new 680 Holley and MSD Ignition by PO)..they have not as of yet solved that problem)
Some of you have already helped alot on deciding wheels and tires..(I dont mind ralley wheels if chromed or polished with the tall derby cap but I'm going for a "younger" look
I would appreciate some help on finding a complete new console with gauges. As I mentioned it has the 700r4 trans. and does have the correct indicator window or whatever you call that piece..All the consoles I find (Summit,Year-One,etc list all the trans except the 700r??

Thank Yall.. (for the yanks, that means everyone

Thanks for replying..console body is cracked in a few places and the "chrome" looking trim is worn off in places..the indicator plate looks good..but i also want the 3 gauges I've seen..so I thought I could get it all ready to go on like I've seen for the th350 and 400's..

Most people prefer RS hide-a-ways and you're thinking about getting rid of them?? . . .
I wouldn't do it.

if dont want the rs headlights i would just sell the car and find a std camaro without them. no sense in cutting up a nice original rs car to get rid of the rs stuff.
