Good question. The M22 tranny incidentaly had the RPO of M22, there were 2117 of them made. They required Z/28 or 375 HP engines. Couldnt tell you the value though.

EDIT: of course there were more than that made over all. 2117 of them were put into Camaro's in 69.

 

I had a '68 M22 that I sold on ebaylast year and only got$800.

Ive heard from trans guys that Chevrolet had a bunch of left over m-22 cases, C-code, and just used m-21 parts in them. We thought my brothers was an m-22 and found out that the internals are m-21.

 

Muncies values have really dropped in the last couple of years because Keisler Transmissions just started reproducing all the parts again
