Default Low-emission classic Camaros?.. What is your opinion?

Dear classic Camaro enthusiasts,

Thank you for accepting me to this forum. First, I would like to introduce myself.
I am a German engineer who used to live in the USA. I got to know the great car culture in the USA and was fascinated by the size of the community and the lifestyle behind classic American cars. So far, I was mainly involved into the German flat 6 and inline 6 community. Owning a V8, has always been one of my dreams. Today, however, everyone is talking about environmental friendliness. Also the according emission legislation is tightening (especially in CA...).
In an "after-work" research group I am currently looking deeper into what that would mean for classic car owners... Some solutions to reduce emissions are being offered for classic Camaros - most of them are based on battery electric powertrains. Since we also want to push actual solution development, we would be glad if you could participate in a short survey to let us know how emission legislation and public awareness is affecting your car passion! What would you be willing to change in case legislation changes even further?... Thanks a lot in advance!

Cheers,
Dennis

If the corrupt legislators decide the fate of classic car usage, we're screwed. The people should vote on it.

Electric motors will never fly with the classic car crowd, the rumble of an American V-8 engine cannot be replaced.
It's about far more than just the body styling, the love of classic cars goes much deeper.
