Default Lock'ed up brake drum

My driver's side rear drum is locked solid. Tried to rotate drum to see the star adjuster but had to use the power of the engine to turn the drum. Not really a whole lotta room to adj. through the little opening and loosening will b harder than adjusting out due to holder. Look's like there are two holes across from each other that u could use puller on. Possible emergency cable not releasing ? Any help's appreciated !!!!

Those little openings is all you need to turn the star wheel, either with an adjusting tool or a large screw driver. You just have to do a tooth at the time, and in the right direction. Most likely the shoes have worn a ridge in the drum and the springs can't pull them back due to rust. Try whacking the drum with a BFH, it may just cause the rust to break and release the shoes, or if you are lucky break the drum.

Default Stuck drum

Ended up getting it off with the BFH and some BF'ing pry bar's. Had a bad wheel cylinder . Replaced both ,new shoes and drums turned. Now for a full front end rebuild and possible front disc conversion. Dear Santa !!!!!!
