Default License plate bulb holder.

Hello all. Newbie here. Doing some badly needed maintenance on my new 67 bird
I know someone's going to make an idiot out of me here but here it goes. License plate bulb was out so I remove the lens but couldn't get it out without breaking it. I have the license plate bulb holder loose because I need to repair the wire going to it. However I cannot get it out from in between the bumper and the bracket that holds the license plate. I could repair the wire without removing it, but I'll still need to get the new cover in once I replace the bulb. Any help is appreciated.

Welcome, Girly, to the club.
It may just be easier in replacing the whole assembly.from one of the aftermarket vendors.
Cut the wire, pull through the grommet, remove grommet, as the new assembly may/should come with new grommet and install.

The whole assembly, including wire with grommet on it already is like $12 IIRC. NPD is where I saw them

Yes. Thanks for the reply. the problem was removal, not the assembly itself. Had to take the bumper off to get it out.
