Default To keep or not to keep

I just took the factory original Muncie 3 speed manual transmission out of my wifes 67 camaro and replaced it with a 4 speed Muncie. The car came with a 327, 210 horse engine and we did some updates that moved the horsepower up to about 300. The 3 speed just didn't feel right, therefore the change. The 3 speed is in excellent working condition and has all the original linkage, shifter, etc. So here are my questions.
1. Do I keep the 3 speed transmission with the car even though we will never re-install it in order to enhance the value of the car if we ever sell it?
2. If I sell the 3 speed, what is a ball park figure for its value?
Thanks for your input.

keep it because if you ever sell it alot of people like having all of the original stuff. and by having the option to put it back to completly stock

It's worth between $300-400 bux. Since you say factory original, you did verify that it is indeed a matching numbers (partial VIN) to the car?
If it isn't, then go ahead and sell it, as it makes no difference which non-numbers matching Muncie you have.
