Sweet! Did the seller give you any documentation with the car, like an original bill of sale, protecto plate, or build sheet? Sometimes the build sheet (if it wasn't thrown out) was stuffed somewhere inside the car at the factory, under the rear seat was a popular place.

No the only thing I have is the registeration of when they first got it. I will need to do some more looking as today is the first real chance I have had with the car. Thank you again for all you help. I will continue to stay on to this site as I want to biuld a 383 4speed 67 but I dont feel that this one is it.

Thank you Glenn,
After going over it a bit more today I'm concerned that it does"t have a traction bar attached at the RH side of the rear Diff. There is a tag on the filler saying to use posi tract fuild and it is a 12 bolt. I got the headlights to open but they will not close. The exhaust is shot and I wonder if I do anything to it my valve will go down. Still so many questions and you guys on this site are GREAT......

Are you concerned over the need for one, or because you think your car came with one? The addition of the (radius rod) traction bar came around mid-year production, after GM said, "oops we didn't design this rear suspension very well". Based on the December build date on your trim tag, that puts your car in the first half of the production year, before they started installing the traction bar.

correct early 67's didn't have the traction bar--mine also dosent have it--and hasn't been a problem driving it --mine has the single leaf spring also i 'm thinking with the 12 bolt you have multi leaves in the rear--Enjoy the car--and thanks for the pictures--always good to see a stocker..
