I kind oflike it as long as no real 69 was hurt in the build. I do think they may be disapointed in what it brings. The "Kit Car" world is real limitedand tend not to spend big bucks on cars. Remember those old Vet to Ferarrikit car they used on Miami Vice. They wherePopular about 2 years then you could not sell them for what the stock Vets in the same conditionwhere going for.
Its alwayshard to tell since the first gens are going mainstream. Some of the people that think first gens are coolbut have no clue how to tell a 67 from a 68 or 69 might like it.

I can see what you are getting at Gorn. I guess I might be more of a purist or whatever, but if they are going to make a kit car for this model year then It's not too bad of a way to do it.... It just looks way out of proportion and the lines don't match up and it makes me want to throw up on myself the more that I look at that...
No, sir. I don't like it... Not one bit.

It was only a matter of time until someone did this to a Camaro. There have been a couple of Mustangs with this same modification. In the auction they drop some names as suppliers but it all boils down to how good the bodywork is. Pictures always look good, up close it may be a POS. I am definately not impressed with the hood or the tailpipes!
Ehh- it'd make a better 5th-gen than a 5th-gen, but it's not at all what I'd want in a Camaro :/
And for the price they're asking I'd rather get started on building mine.

I think for most of us here we look at that car and just seething thats not right. Anyonewho can say I would rather build one myself is not going to like that car.
I had a 74 Z28 it was a solid car. I drove it through High school. I used have to hear about what a pc of junk it was cause it wasblack primer. Friend of mine bought a 71, this thing was a rust bucket bone stock 307 2 speed. He was very low on funds. We used hangersand fibergrass to reform the quatersand about10 lbs of puddy in that car and a air body file. There was not a single correct body line from the front fender back. Everthing was rounded and smoothed. He paid an old timers like $500 to skim coatthe car and spary it. Paint came out real shinny with only a few waves, old guy was good. He thenput a set of the cheap "Man hole cover" chrome rims and white letter tires on. Total investment less then $1500. When it was done I told him he was not allowed to tell anyone I worked on it and he could not park it infront of my house. One weekend I had the Zcarb torn down and we took his car. I was a little nervos cause I knew2 of my seat bolt where mounted to a old street sign that held the floor together. He got nothing but compliments about how great the car was, no less then 6 differnt people.
If its shinny most people will like it. I would have not given him $500 the day after it waspainted. He could have sold that car for $2500 in a heart beat. It got him thru 3 years of collage but just about fell apart his senior year. That old 307/powerglidedrive line was bullet roof.

I think it's nice in it's own way. It has more modern amenities for being a better long-haul car, but with the old classic look. The real sin is, for this one theyused an "02 SS Convert., which has good last-of-it's-breed value in itself.
