The main differents between a 67 and a 68 is the doors. The 67 had the small "Wing" or vent window and the 68 did not(see my sig). When I start looking at a project like this I will get out a sheet metal catalog and see what they break down into different part number. I checked NPD not only do they list seprate door but even the door skins have different Part numbers. Also the weather striping shows different part numbers. I would say trying to make 68 doors work on the 67 is going to a lot more then just bolting them on. Also the fenders have side markers but if you are using the wiring out of the 68 that is not an issue.
On the plus side the Repo doors can be had for $319.95 Ea. For what these cars cars are now selling for you canconcider buying the correct 67 door as a investment that will pay off.I know if I watch Craigs list I can pick up adoor that needs reskined for around $100 reposkins are about $90.

nice write up gorn, yea there are only a few different parts and gorn named them. All the body lines will line up correctly as long as u get a good body man. They are the same parts like gorn said 68 has front and rear fender lights and the front grill is different, with the wing glasses
