Default How To Price Out Old Parts

..Help..I've never sold parts before so how do I know what price to charge for good parts that I've taken off my 67 RS? ..is there some kinda formula/percentage that can be used..like price it 1/3 the price of the new replacement if its still in good condition but just needs painting or something to that affect??..I think the classifieds on here has to have everything priced so I can't just ask "whatcha gimme for a complete set of 15x7 ralley wheels with almost new bfg 215-60's with only 1k miles can I ? Thanks

Kinda looks like you just did ask!
Generally, you can ask half of what new is going for. But, if it's a more rare part, you will use the "what the market will bear" method of pricing, which can get nuts depending on what it is.
So, simple answer to your question, it depends! Look on flebay for comparable parts if you're unsure, you'd hate to give something away if it had real value.

Don't want to have to ship anything..yet

Good luck with your sale. Personally, I'm at a loss to find the classified section on this forum. I'm a busy guy but I spent the time to be helpful with a few posts to qualify to access the classifieds and now I can't find it. Why the mystery? Why is there not a button that says something like, "Classifieds" that I can click on and list an item or two. It isn't that I need to peddle some crap, but more like I've stumbled across a single vintage component that one of you may consider quite valuable. If I can't get it into the right hands (in a selfless act of responsibility to the sport) then I'll cut it up so that it serves my purpose. I have a small pro shop and have a non-Camaro customer who could use it. Give me some directions please!
