Default How many were made?

I have a 1967 r/s convertable with the 250 RPO motor all matching numbers never been restored still like new I've got sales dockets from when it was bought original paint original everything I live in Australia and I know it's the only one here. I know it's a Rare Camaro and only a few were made with the 250 RPO motor. Can any one tell me exactly how many were made?

Thankyou all help would be great

I hate to tell you, but chevrolet doesnt have any records that go back that far. the best you are able to get is a rough est. from researching books and websites. try teamcamaro.com those guys are really into stats and things like that. they should be able to help you out more.

Lol I know that's why I'm here asking but thanks for your input anyway mate. From what I found so far it's between 50 and 80. It would be great to know exactly how many though. It's great to know I've got the only one in Australia though lol when I work out how to post a pic I will

Cheers for your help

There were 5,285 6 cyl. convertibles built. A grand total of 64,842 RS models were built (across the whole line). How were you able to whittle the combination of the two down to only 50-80 cars? I know of no RPO database that shows what package combinations were built together. Did you find one?

Of that 64 842 rs 1967models that were built a thousand or so were convertibles at least half of those were made with the 386 RPO motor and of those only 50 or so were with the 250 RPO motor I read it in the book a few weeks back 'original Camaro 67-69' it doesnt say the figures exactly for the 250 it was just a educated gusse. These numbers are just of the top of my head from what I can remember reading.

screw the numbers kid. You got yourself a prize beyond prizes. All original, never restored still like new, matching paperwork/vins.

Kid.. if I was you, id stop worry about numbers because it doesn't matter if 100 or 1 million were produced. You know how many of them are LEFT? id guess around 5-10 IF THAT!! Thats probably as rare as the Yenko. But I think theres only 3 TRUE Yenko Camaros left.. (a couple 69's and possibly a 81 Turbo Z)

So don't worry about the numbers.. just be happy knowing you own an original piece of history and someday you can be buried with it because it's to precious to hand down
