Looks good. Seems I would have had it running - you have coolant, fuel, electricity?

I have neither coolant, fuel or electricity yet. when I build a car I like to have the gauges operate when I start the engine.and I never get in a hurry about any thing. I know it is hard to wait sometimes to start an engine.but it will happen soon.

I understand your point of view. It is nice to have some monitoring devices on-line.

Assuming you have a newly rebuilt engine, the only way to properly break it in (set the rings to the cylinder walls) is while it's under a load by driving the car, not by running the engine in the garage. You're smart to resist the temptation.

before I do the front sheet metal I will start the engine , break in the cam , set the timing and check for leaks. then I'll let it cool make any adjusments ,start it again bring it up to operating temp and check every thing out. then it should be ready to drive.

got the dash finished except for the glove box door.and leaving the box loose ,I may replace the grab handle if I can find one. ready for the steering column, need to do some work on it . I recently bought a power brake bleader .used it on this project for the first time .it was awsome makes brake bleading a piece of cake.

Any more pics of it? I liked watching the progress of the build and would love to see the finished pics. Thanks for sharing!
