Question Highly optioned 68?

My 68 has a lot of features I've been reading that were optional on other cars. Sorry I have no pics. Can't seem to upload it right. 4bbl 327 with powerglide. I'm sure previous owner did some tinkering with it but some of these items looks very old and it wouldn't make sense to purchase these aftermarket. I bought the car back in 05 for only $2000, and as my name implies, it was found in a barn. My car has the following:

4 piston brake calipers

power brakes

greenish blue tinted windows

powered convertible top

brightwork everywhere, I mean on the wipers, on the doors, around windshield, headlights. looks a little exaggerated but seems to be original 40yrs old

Headrests

dual exhausts with the muffler tucked away above the rear axle.

Rear interior lights

8 track tape deck on passenger side, looks delaer installed(definitely not original)

Other than the tape deck, could the vehicle rolled out of the assembly line this way? The one option I am really concerned are the Headrests. Are they original??

Thanks

Look here, it's a list of all the RPO codes available for the 68: http://www.chevy-camaro.com/chevy-ca....asp?year=1968
Head restraints were available and only 2,234 were sold, so it's a fairly rare option. Your bright work description sounds normal, wipers and window trims are polished stainless steel. And the other options you list; tape player (if yours is factory), interior lights, power brakes, disc brakes (front), dual exhaust, tinted windows, power top, were all available options. Sounds like a well optioned car you have. Too bad you can't upload any pics.

I have been trying to upload the pics but they end up being deleted and they never go through so it's something I'm doing wrong.

make a www.photobucket.com account you cant go wrong. uploading pics there should be easy enough. copy the address bar they give you when you post a reply there is a box you can click right above where you type you reply. it looks like 2 mountains and something else and past the address in the box that pops up on the screen. i hope this helps
