Default Hidden Headlights

Hi there, my dads hidden headlights arent working properly and we are trying to troublehoot it with no luck. Could anyone help? We tried following the book but its still not working right. The problem is that it wont close and im sure its probably something simple but what I have no idea. If anyone knows of any good information I could find online and point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Make sure you have the rubber door bumpers installed, they are on radiator support ,if head light door spring extends to much ,sometimes vaccuumjust isn't stong enough to pullhead lamp door closed , hope this helps you.
