Default Heater issues on 68 RS w/ AC

No heat. Blower motor works but makes a squeak noise.
Levers appear to move fine, A/C works great as does defroster, just no heat.

Is there a heater control valve that should be in-line on the heater hose?

There is some sort of resistor on top of the A/C box under hood has a 3-prong plug that appears to be worn? What does this do if anything for heat?

Any help or suggestions would be great. Thanks

Sounds like no water flow thru the heater core. Check the hoses and see if you can flow thru the heater core with a water hose and both hoses off the engine. The connector with the resistors is for the fan speed only. It the fan motor selects low med and high it is fine.

Default Heater issue

I finally found that the heater core is leaking and is no doubt clogged up.

Now, to replace a heater core in a factory A/C system??????

Thanks
