Default Headers for 68 with 4 spd?

I am currently working on restoring a 68 with 400/4spd set up and have tried about 4 different sets of headers with no luck! The clutch linkage seems to interfear with every set I have had. Does anyone have any recommendations on something that will fit?

Thanks in advance!!

Sounds like the clutch linkage may be your problem, has it maybe been altered form stock, perhaps the car was converted from an auto and the clutch linkage is not the stock stuff?
If the headers are designed for a first gen car there should be no issues.
Even with a big block and using small block motor mounts the only issue is with the steering box where you have to ding one tube a little for clearance.
If you are trying to fit generic headers of some kind forget it,order headers designed for a '67-'69 Camaro.

What brands have you tried, was Hooker one of them? Hooker Headers has always been synonymous with the word "fit". But, other name brand specific fit headers should still fit.

Add me to the list of Hooker Competition Headers that installed pretty well onto my DZ302. No problems.
