I have a 67 with A/C and went with a set of Hedman Hussler Hedders long tube. The problem I ran into was the steering shaft fit to rack and pinion. I ended up cutting a tube out of the header and rerouting to make everything fit. I haven't driven the car yet so I am not sure what will happen with the starter. I have heard a lot about overheated starters and plugs.I probably will have to go down the same path as you did with the starter. Do you have the summit P/N for the remote solenoid.
