Anyone ever cut and shortened a CERAMIC coated header ??
Can it be cut, welded and then recoated ??

Camaro sit level?
Could you stack washers between the block and engine mount?

Lower on the drivers side is strange.. big block engine mount stands were offset so that the drivers side actually sat 1/2" higher for clearance.
It may be possible that the stands are mounted on the wrong sides.

Are the headers hanging low back at the collector, or where the pipes make the bend? If the collector is what's hanging, you can try loosening the mounting bolts, jack the collector end up, and re-tighten. A little rotating movement up top makes a bigger difference down below. You can also slot the holes for more movement, if need be.

Along with Senior 69's suggestion,
is the collector parallel with the subframe?
Or, is the collector flange hanging down more than the rest of the collector?

If the latter, one can use block of wood on the collector Y and slowly jack up the wood to bend the header up...

That make no sense.... Regardless of what vehicle they're installed in; the block and cylinder location are the same (one sides not higher than the other). if the headers are bolted to a level engine and one hangs lower there's an issue with the headers themselves.
As far as fitting into the car its pretty obvious; they will or they wont. But the car wont make one side higher.

Doesn't make sense to me either, sounds like a stock answer/denial by the manufacturer. Because of different clearance issues, headers are vehicle specific, not easily cross-fit into other cars or one size fits many.
What still wasn't answered is:
Are they low at the collector (angled down)?
Or are they low at the bends and the collector is higher (angled up)?
Or are they parallel to the car but low across the board?

Default Headers hanging too low

The header is level and runs parallel to frame. The driver side down tubes are longer than other side. I bent them up some have to see how that works...for now

I must have the same exact hooker comp headers on my 67 because i have this same issue! the drivers side sits lower by a decent amount than the passenger. I believe it's due to the orientation of the pipes and how they're made to fit around the steering box. It's the headers themselves, they just sit that way, sadly i hit things with mine from time to time, it sucks but idk what i could do about it without causing exhaust leaks.
