Trying to help my wifes cousin out get the details on his 1967 RS/SS. He is trying to get the facts on where his car was built, sold (what dealer) and how to find out how many owners. He believes he is either the second or third owner. Are there any Car Fax services out there that would be any good in finding this info?

there is the trim tag on the drivers side of the firewall that will tell you when are where it was built and the factory colors and interior for the car. from thr vin and engine #s you gave the car is a numbers matching car meaning it has the original motor in it.

 

Well we already know its a Rag top made in Norwood, Ohio. Cowl Tag I showed you in the other post would give you a ton of info!
