Good Deal on a 68 or not?
I need a little help. I am currently looking to buy a classic Camaro. I found a 1968, numbers matching 327. Power train is all original. He believes everything else is original. The car has new front fenders, needs lower rear quarters, rocker panels and door skins and possibly partial floor replacement, will need new exhaust. He currently drives the car around occasionally. The frame and subframe are in good condition. Interior is in great shape, probably would not have to touch at all. It is a 10 bolt, automatic. All the glass is good.
The guy wants $5,700 do you think this is a good deal?
Please let me know
Thanks

be carefull floor pans and rocker panels need replaced along with lower quarter's unless you a good body person that alone will set you back thousands.any idea what the inner rocker's look like? rust is like a cancer once you have it it spread's.without personally inspecting it before you buy I mean really going over it inside and out it would be tuff to put a price on it.Impossible for me to help without pic's and the little amount of info you have posted. hope I'm not not late good luck
