Default Going to fuel injection

So I'm pretty sure I'm going to switch to fuel injection this summer. Does anyone have any recommendations on which system to go with?

Thanks,

You choices depend upon present camshaft specs.
Whatever route, you will need to route a fusible linked, power relay controlled by IGN, for powering the injectors, one side.

If stock camshaft, the easiest route is take every item you see/imagine from an '87-'92 GMC/Chev SBC pick-up/van, and transfer over to Camaro. Might even take intake manifold for making TBI-to-manifold easier rather than make an adapter. BBC's have larger 2 inch TBI's. Take distributor also and gas tank sending unit 'cause it has the pump and return nipple.

One of the two magazines, did just this feat with GM salvage yard parts, Hot Rod or Car Craft, under $1K.

If aftermarket camshaft, others have had good luck with FAST EFI, MSD Atomic, and Edelbrock.

It all depends on what you want. The systems are very easy to install these days.

Road kill installs Atomic EFI on the side of the road. If you do not want to watch the whole thing just skip to the 20 minute mark.

You have that simple to converting a LT1 port injection system and building a semi custom Mega squirt system.

SB 406, aluminum 210 heads, .510/310 cam. I have looked at the Atomic, Holley, Fast and a few others. It's hard to know which kit is the right one, or it is for me anyway. I was wondering if anyone in here had first hand experience with these or any other brand kits.
Looking to increase ease of starting, general driveability and performance. I have changed carbs a few times looking for the right combo but haven't really found it. So I figured I'll just go in a different direction. Plus, it will be something a little different that most of the other 1st gen Camaros at the local car shows I attend. See a few blowers and supercharged 1st gens, but no FI cars.

Thanks,

I went with the Holley HP but it is not for the inexperienced. Being that it is my first setup, the fuel table mapping and other enrichment features are taking me forever to figure out. Given that my engine is not simple by any means it is still very time consuming and frustrating trying to get it to run right. Also it seems that this particular setup is not very common in the mainstream efi world and finding a local expert is just about impossible. The parts are top notch just not simple.

If you are way past stock you want a system that can self learn or help in the way of a dyno tuner. I plan on using the GM Lt1 on my 67 but I have a great dyno tuner 5 miles from my house and a 325 hp 350 is a simple one for him.

There is a Roadkill channel on Youtube. In fact the show is Youtube only, Those are both editors for Hotrod magazine. The older guy (David Freiburger) runs the magazine. He also owns on the badest Camaros ever built the "F-bomb". Search that on google, it's likeness was used in one of the fast and furious movies.

I was watching a Motor Trend guy interviewing David Freiburger, He asked, How is it we can put professional drivers in a million dollar worth of super cars and race them and we get 100,000 views. You can put a junk yard 4.3 V6 in a rusted out Datsun 240 with a turbo take it local parking weekend race and loose and still get 2 million hits.

Ya I asked the same question a while back but did not get much response from the class either, I was thinking about the Atomic EFI system for my setup.
