Which ones? There are two sets, the unibody set welded into your car's body/frame combo, and the front subframe that cradles the motor, trans, and fenders.

I've taken my subframe out, welded it from end to end, filled the blemishes, sanded, and painted the whole thing. It is a job, but doable.

As for the rear frame rails, those are more involved, but there rails are available in the aftermarket. You first have to decide of you want to keep it stock or modify it. If I had to do it myself, I'd put a four link in there, and so would choose frame rails that were built to do a four link. There are other versions out there as well.

I would assume the "frame rails" would be the back. If you have access to a rotisserie it is a lot easier to replace the frame rails. I think it would be a huge jobe without being able to flip the car on it's side.

So there was a previous replacement of a stock-type frame rail in the unibody structure? Could you clean it up and plate over it to clean up the messy look?
