yep, thats what I did. as a matter of fact, I still need to tighten quite a few bolts. the only thing I locked down were the bolts at the rear of the fenders once I got them lined up and the gaps where I wanted them.

Thanks CrabMan, I just went back through her thread and read that. not sure how that happened but I can see it being a problem. I had to use an aftermarket Header Panel and core support, and the fit was a total btch. I held my Valance panel (which is the original) up in place last night and its about an inch to narrow to get it up into place so I can see I will be fighting that and the grill/bumper next. no big deal, nothin but a step to a stepper like me. the difference between me and O.... Ima put the muscle to it, if that dont work, the crowbar, if that dont work, I got a strap and a come-a-long that goes around a tree in the yard for special occasions such as this.

At least you're putting together most of the same front end parts that you took off. The problem with O's car, is the body guy who put the front end together did it all wrong.
You need to fit everything (grill, bumper, etc), before you paint, not after. Now she's dealing with a misfit issue, and trying to make it work without damaging the paint.

yea, Im sure it will be fine. so far any tweaking Ive had to do Ive tried to do only by hand so I dont screwed anything up too bad. the bottom front piece of the fenders are like little wings flopping around until you tighten them down so Im sure the Valance will go right in. I already got the center support, headlight brackets and the hood latch installed. I am so looking forward to getting the Valance, Grill and bumper on this week. prolly go ahead and put the headlights and buckets on too. she will look like a whole car then. GA will be here Friday and Bob should be here saturday, hopefully we can get most of the wiring done.
