Default Fender emblems Any good ideas

I am inches from bieing done with my restoration and one of the few things I have left is to put the fender emblems on. Unfortunatly I didnt realize you had to do this before everything was together, does anybody have any good ideas on how to get them on without tearing apart the car?

Use barrel nuts, in fact one of the Camaro parts suppliers offered a barrel nut kit.

You slide these small cage like nuts into the drilled hole and the emblem slides into this nut.

I can remember getting mine at a local NAPA.

Here's an example: http://www.classicindustries.com/cam...ware/?q=barrel nut&y=1969&p=1&sb=0

Just remember, the hole diameter for the barrel nuts will be different then the size for the emblem studs.

You might have to go one or two sizes up on the drill bit.
