Default Engine number decoding... double check my findings

I have been digging around trying to find exactly what engine and heads I have. When I bought the car I was told it was a 350 out of a 69 corvette, which I now am 99% sure is incorect. Here are all my casting numbers.

Engine
3970010 On rear of block
K1020CNU On block in front of pass. side head.

Heads
3970126

From my research I think the block is a 350 from possibly a 70 Impala. 250hp model. I am not sure if it would be a 2 or 4 bolt.

The heads I have found several conflicting answeres as to what they are or what they came off of.

If anyone with some more knowledge on this could confirm or add anything to my findings I would appreciate it.
I also took some pictures I can post up later.
Thanks

The CNU suffix code tells it's a 1970 350, 250 h.p., 2 barrel, and was attached to a powerglide trans. Definitely not a Vette engine, and very doubtful of it being a 4 bolt since it isn't a performance engine.
The heads are 1967-70 327/350 heads. 1.94" intake, 1.5" exhaust valves. The date code on them will tell what month/year they are.

I guess the bad news is I was right with my findings. Good news is I got this car for a steal, and it would have been a steal even if it had no engine or trans.

The motor currently runs well, however I had planned on pulling the engine and rebuilding it when I was under the impression it was a vette motor. Knowing what I know now do you think this motor is worth redoing or should I look for a different/better block as a starting point. My end goal would be around a 350hp street car.
Also are these heads any good that are on here(are they desireable at all as far as resale value)
Thanks for the knowledge

Vette, impala, nova, who cares. Like you said you got the car for a steal. No difference in the block except 2 or 4 bolt. I built a 383 stroker out of a 2 bolt 250hp 350 and you never would have known the difference. Build what you got.
