Deluxe Interior- Rear Seat Question
Hellooo! The names' chris/cody/whatever-Im new to the forum, i own a 67 327, pretty standard.. but i want to convert it to deluxe interior.
My question is do i need a new rear seat (the portion that you sit on(bench?)) ? Because the deluxe has arm rests on either side of the back seat that make the (bench) portion narrower.. molded, in a word, to fit around the arm rests..
Its hard to explain but if you catch my drift, let me in on the secret.. Thanks!

I have a fold down rear seat and I have arm rest with the ash tray on the arm rest, my buddy's seat does not fold down and he does not have arm rest and his ash tray is on side panel. Both cars are 68 SS/RS with deluxe interior
i tried again but i give up on posting the picture..
Honestly dont remember, i put it in storage a while ago and havent even thought about it.
It was more than likely a 2bbl, tossed the tranny (3sp? powerglide), and bucket seats. All numbers matched till i chucked the tranny. Rebuilt the block, 4bbl, hydraulic rollers, l0.5 comp.-- i didnt want to run that with a 3 spd so i got a Richmond 5sp manny

no i was wondering because i was told about a 67 camaro with a 327 and it was butternut yellow that was around town here. also there shouldnt be any rivits in the top. the vinyl was glued to a primered top from the factory. also all the seems were welded together. to tell if your car is a factory vinyl top look at your trim tag and find the paint code. it should look like say for a red car R-R that is a red body and top R-2 is red body a black vinyl top
im not sure then. from what i remember, these "rivets" were evenly spaced, and ran horizontally on the body, from the side window to the rear window..about where the bottom of the vinyl ran. Googled it, and this is what i thought my car looked like off the showroom floor
