Good hunting Bruce!

I'll bet you can find me a front windshield with the antenna built in too!

I found a thread about the same topic and it looks like most others are using a hidden antenna under the front dash. Some like it and some don't but it appears that the company that makes the flush mount glass is the only company that makes one.

Sorry boss, guess I'm fired!

haha Bruce. Naw, stick around! You would think that somebody would sell a windshield for a first gen with the antenna built in. I didn't know about an under dash antenna. Oh well, it will be a few more years before I worry about a stereo anyway lol!

Our windshields are held in place with adhesive. The chrome trim (stainless actually) is just cosmetic to cover the gap between the glass and metal. Not sure what you're trying to accomplish with using rubber trim instead, my guess is you may be looking for more of the flush look? I replaced the glue in windshield on my Jeep Wrangler, and it has a rubber outer trim that fits into the channel between the glass and frame. I think that's what you're describing, but I'm sure it's not wide enough to cover the Camaro's gap.
