have a 67 rs i bought .cant figure out what it means seen all the different info on different sites and still cant figure if its a real rs or if its a ss any help would be appreciated thanks

Your car appears to be a RS/SS 396/325 HP big block. Here's a link that should be able to answer any questions you may have.

The options at the bottom of the tag are the important ones, look for the chart
“1967 Cowl Tag Fisher Option Codes”
On your tag the options start with E. The option are in 5 groups. Look to the left of the chart you will see the 1-5 groups. The first group (1) is assumed so E should be 1E. Next for you would be 2LR which means Group 2 Option L and Option R (L=4 speed R=rear speakers) and so on.
That is a very nicely optioned I assume you do not have the original 396 or 4 speed? Original 12 bolt rear? It still might be worth it to build a numbers matching car. Done right that is a 100k car.

Making a numbers matching engine is pretty easy. You just need to find a numbers correct block and get it re-stamped with your Vin. Normally its not really worth it but if you put the rest of the car back "correct" then it could dramatically increase the value. Of course do you own research and remember classic cars are an investment and like any investment there are no guarantees.
Even if you decided to not put it back to original then if you had a numbers matching block to sell with the car it could increase the value much more then the sum of the parts.
