Conversion to Floor Console Guages
Has anyone ever done the conversion from the standard idiot lights to the floor-console gauge set, on a '67?
If so, what kinds of problems did you run into, and/or, what special parts might be needed, besides the revised console unit and gauge set? (I see that "conversion harnesses" are also being sold online as well).
Also, were there any issues with removing the standard in-dash-cluster fuel gauge (since one is now part of the floor gauge set) and replacing it with the factory tachometer unit?
Any tips from your experience would be appreciated. Thanks!
