Competition Engineering traction bars. U bolts vs J bolts

I have 69 camaro with 12 bolt and multileaf springs. it has 4:10s in it.

THe car is a 4 speed car with a 350 with around 470 horse.

My question is i just got a set of Comp. Engineering tractions bars from a friend.

I was wondering if i should use the J bolts supplied with them

or the oringinal U bolts.

Which setup is more beneficial. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Do you think one setup is superior to the other.

J bolts Vs. U bolts. Which one is a better way to set up the traction bars.

If they aren't I'd hope they would, they improve handling IMMENSLY... I want to get that Hotchkis one for the rear.... VERY NICE!...

I have mine mounted on with the U-bolts. The J-bolts give you the ability to give more or less preload on the front of the bars to adjust for a straighter launch (less body twist). Unless you're constantly racing your car, the benefits won't be as important. But then, if I had the J-bolts in my hand, I would probably wind up playing with them instead of the U-bolts.
