Default Carb identification

Sorry for this basic question...

The carb on my 327 is a Holley. Chances are it is NOT the one in the factory shop manual. How can I find out the model number? CFM rating etc. Where is the number located?

Thanks,
Vic

Thanks Chuck, great info.
I'm still a little confused as to to the model number, though. Mine does not apear to match any of the pics...so I posted a pic of mine.

The number is 1850-4 and date code of 3224.

On the second link I gave you, yours is the fifth one down, model 4160. It's a pretty common carb.
