I have what appears to be a 67 Camaro. Problem is the Vin on the door pillar is a new tag with non Chevy roset rivets. This raised a red flag. Upon further inspection I found that both the partial Vin#s stamped under the cowel panel and behind the right fender on the firewall match, but not exactly to the Vin# on the pillar. Using the partial Vin I think I was able to figure out the original Vin#, but wondered where I can actually search the Vin itself?

Everywhere I look to search the Vin comes back as invalid as there where only 13 Characters back then so nothing comes up. Can anyone help me figure where or how to search this Vin to get some history on my ride?
