Camaro frame
Hello
New to the forum. I have a 1969 Camaro that I am pro touring. I just bought a full Roadershop SPEC frame for it. I am running a new LS376/525 6.2L with a Tremec 5 speed. Has anyone out there done this before and can give me some insight into exhaust or anything else i need to address while building this car.
Thanks
Paul

Looks like a great build. I am not aware of anyone that is regularly on this sight doing a build like this. I assume there will be a lot of custom tweaking. Any time you bolt together a bunch of aftermarket parts they tend not to mix well. Most of the parts would be fine bolting to an original car but these redesigned parts tend to use areas that are unused by the factory. If two aftermarket parts use the same empty space then you have an issue. Example. Ls oil pan would work fine in an original car but not with that frame, there may not be a LS pan that exists for it. Or it could work fine. Common aftermarket accessory brackets may work with that fames and the LS mounts you have.
This type of build is not as common in the DIY world. In fact this is the first time I have seen a aftermarket frame like that. I know there was a tubular version. I have seen them put in convertibles either because of the want to race it or because of fears of poor repairs. I am sure there are a professionals that have parts lists on what they did but I doubt they will share. Also a lot of the guys that do these build will not think twice about cutting something up and making it work and would likely not even think it was important enough to write down.
Good luck and if you do not mine I would love to follow along if you would not mind showing pics here in a build thread or by video updates on youtube.
