Default Build sheet

I found a tag on the underside of my carpet dated 1968 and I was told when I got the car it was all original interior so where specifically will the build sheet be under frt seat bottom of back seat, dash,kick panels, just want to save time/work thanks

if actually has one thats the bonus. the build sheets were not technically supposed to go with the cars. they were just info to the workers as the car went down the line. they can be under the carpet, stuffed between the burlap and springs of the rear seat, inside of the headliner, you name it. there was never one specific location for them.

Yeah that. The build sheet was either stuffed inside the car somewhere, or thrown out. The object was for the end of the line worker to simply "get rid of it"....like used chewing gum! At the time, it was never meant to be included as part of any documentation. But now, it's looked at as the holy grail of authenticity.

Thanks maybe I will put that on the back burner and hook the Council gauges up

I found part of mine on top of the gas tank after dropping it... unfortunately only about 1/3 of it was intact.
