Default Body Replacement Parts

Can anyone tell me the best place to go to find replacement body parts for the 1969 Camaro? There seem to be several options out there. I want to make sure I go to a trusted place where the body parts fit well. My first purchase is going to be the taillight panel.

Thanks all,
Jen

All panels are going to be Goodmark or Dynacorn panels. Depending on what supplier you buy them from as to how much you will pay. Aftermarket panels will all need some fabrication done to them to make them fit right.

We got all of ours from NPD. They were great and beat most prices all around.

There are a limited number of makers, but most distributors sell whatever they get. NPD actually sends reps to the maker and inspects the panels for fit and rejects whatever isn't correct. I'd go with NPD over anyone. I got some Goodmark stuff when rebuilding my car and it took too long, and it was very poor fitting.

Thanks all for your input. I will take a look at NPD. Since this is my first project all the advice I can get will be great. My husband works with metal all the time, so I'm sure he can do what needs to be done, but the less work the better.

He will have me cutting the old one out, but I will leave the welding up to him.

Ss396.com had pretty good panels, even the quarters and trunk lid were good

I am lucky enough that I work about 15 miles from the NPD in Ventura Ca and I purchased a lot of stuff from them. I drive over with my truck and drive home with my parts. I took a few items back (door shells) because I decided I wanted to just skin the ones I had and they did not give me any problems and I did not even have the boxes anymore!
Staff is very helpful and that goes a long way. Obviously you will have to block them out for a good finish but other than that it you are good to go!
