Billet Specialties overflow tank install

Someone gave me one of these and I have two questions:
#1 Where is the best place to mount it in my 69 with small block 350 and original radiator?
#2 Does the hose from the radiator attach to the connection on the overflow tank that enters the tank w/o the internal tube coming off it and the exit hose attach to the other connector that has the internal tube running up the overflow tank? I assume this would make sense as the overflow tank would then fill to the top and drain down internal tube and out once at capacity?
As always, thanks!

On the radiator core support, passenger side, next to the radiator would be a handy spot.
The hose from the radiator wants to connect to the line on the overflow that goes to the bottom of the tank. The idea is if any coolant blows into the tank, it'll get sucked back into the radiator as it cools back down. How often that works all depends on the psi rating of your radiator cap, and how hot your engine gets. I'm running a racing cap (22-24 lbs.) with a good radiator and it never cuts loose, so I don't bother using a tank. Be careful though, slapping a higher rated cap on an old radiator/cooling system can sometimes find a weak spot you didn't know you had.
