Default antenna? silly question, help!

this may sound strange, but I really want to remove the fender antenna on my 67 RS/SS conv, I live by the beach, so a garage is an unaffordable luxury, I keep the car under a superweave and it seems to really keep it nice. However I would love to remove the useless antenna (who uses radio?) and it would be so much easier to put the cover on & off. can anyone give me some ideas????

Are you trying to keep it origional? From the looks of it the rims are OEM, thats why I ask. Otherwise get an electric. The telescoping one was available in 67, that might work too. try ricks first gen.

When I got my camaro I didnt have an antenna on it and the guy had put a plug over it. I dont know where he got it but it matched the color of my car and you could hardly tell it was there. I fit really good too. Maybe try to look around for a plastic plug to put there instead.
