Hello I am new to this forum and looking for some advice. I need to know if the alternators are dated for the year of the car or stamped im some way. my father in laws went out and need to replace it but not sure if we should rebuild the original or purchase a new one. thank you for any help. it has had a complete frame off resto and all matching #'s car
