69 Flapper valve blows fuse
Not very mechanically inclined here and could use some help. Recently (after 10 years), the hood flapper valve on my 69 Camaro quit working, blowing the 10 amp radio fuse. The radio will work with new fuse and energized. its only after start and initiating the flapper valve through acceleration does it blow. Does not look like it is shorting out at the flapper valve itself, could a bad relay cause this? or more likely and hard to get to, the switch at the accelerator arm? Any thought is appreciated.
