69 Camaro..Just brought it in Yesterday...questions!!
Hi Guys....FINALLY!!! my 69 is in my garage!!
Now I need your advise.
All the body parts are brand new from year one but it has no emblems and I already order the emblem kit. What would be the best way to open the holes needed for the emblems.....i just don't want to drill holes and chip the brand new paint.
I've seen on ebay some emblem templates, do I need one of those for the holes....any other way of doing it?
Also it has no hole for the antenna, so same as above...how do I open the hole for it?
Tks!!!

The way to put a hole in the body panel is with a drill, you just need to be careful. As a safeguard, tape over the area, and well beyond, with a couple layers of wide painters tape.
If drilling bothers you, you could cut the mounting tabs off the emblems and mount them with double sided emblem tape.

The templates help you to get the holes, and the emblems in the right place. I don't know if the Camaro assembly manuals have this, they may not, but my Vette manuals give exact measurements to body reference points for all the emblem hole locations.
